Steve O’Brien, Senior Vice President of Residential and Commercial Businesses, is responsible for leading both business sectors, including the sales, marketing, product management, pricing and end-to-end supply chain functions. He oversees the vice presidents of the residential and commercial channels as well as the leaders of the other business functions. He is accountable for revenue, profitability and working capital management of the two business sectors and the overall company. He ensures all core operations are unified and aligned with the company’s business goals, and that company performance meets the expectation of METUS’ customers and other stakeholders.

O’Brien joined the Cooling & Heating Division in April 2015 as Vice President of the Residential Business. Prior to joining the company, he served as Vice President and Business Leader at Regal Beloit Corporation in Beloit, Wisconsin and Senior Vice President and Acquisition Integration Leader at A.O. Smith Electrical Products Company which was acquired by Regal Beloit.

He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from the State University of New York College at Potsdam, Potsdam, New York, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio.
